Known Issues

• Diver does not 'die' if he runs out of air, he merely sits on the sea floor
• some browsers may experience a range of minor quirks. these are mostly cosmetic, and should not affect the simulation itself

Compatibility/Browser Issues

"Compatible" appears to be a relative term as far as browsers go. Diver-Sim includes code (both Java and JavaScript) to try to cope with the worst offenders, but the fact remains that different browsers may behave/look slightly different. There are a number of issues with Internet Explorer at present, most of which can be resolved by getting the most recent (and by recent, I mean recent) version. The version I have is v4.72.2106.8 from Help->About... (rather curriously refered to as v4.01 elsewhere), and this seems to resolve most of the problems. It is also noticably faster than previous builds with the same version number (v.4.01)!

Issues:

• Animation transparency not correctly rendered
• Menu bar items 'doubled-up' (you'll know it when you see it!)
• Javascript errors when opening intro pages

The moral of the story seems to be - if in doubt, get the very latest version!
